2014 in Review

Happy New Years! I’m on travel and not able to spend the time to make a pretty post or anything, but I did want to share some 2014 stats with y’all (yes, I’m in the South). WordPress was kind enough to put together a summary, so I’ve just made it public for everyone to see. Take a look if you’re interested. What I think is most fascinating is that a post from July of 2013 was my number 1 viewed post in 2014 — crazy!

A quick reflection: I basically took off the first half of the year or so, during which time I wasn’t even really reading. I basically took off the last quarter or so of this year — work and school have been insane, so I’m pretty proud of how much I DID get posted around here. I’m only taking 1 class at a time in 2015, and I’ll even have the summer off, so hopefully my activity will be more consistent coming up.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,400 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 40 trips to carry that many people.
